| C has movies themed with people going behind each other's backs
Pride and Prejudice - Sisters trying to be married off to avoid loosing their inheritance, so deceptive reasons Educating Rita - wife goes off to get an education behind her husband's back A Dolls House - wife commits forgery to benefit her husband without him knowing Julius Caesar - *stab*
Could be more closely linked to wives and husbands... (P&P had the wife trying to marry the daughters off and can't remember what JC's wife's position was - did she have some involvement in betraying him?)

| C....
Ok well Andy stabing seems a bit of a tenuous link to the other three.. Unless it is at some time you really want to stab one of the characters for their blatent self centeredness...
I wondered if the link is that they have all been set as texts for the HSC (higher school certificate) 2009 through to 2012.
I looked at whether they all started as plays nope. P & P was a novel, all the others started as plays. Cant find any link in actors, time they were written, or a firm link in subject matter..
Anyone got any other ideas peoples.. Warpgoat - hmm i need to have a look at b. . musical link it could be...

said (cough) amazing poetry writing.. It had to have a number of set words in that they gave (daffodil, romeo and juliet for example ) and Holly's english teachers name and have certain forms..alliteration simile.. made it very hard and i am no andyB when it comes to poetry.. IT really isn't worth repeating.... If only you had been online Andy when i started penning it.. Instead i had Toroi ...........

| That is the only way I write poetry - spontaneous for the win: Romeo came dancing daintly through the dirty door with a daffodil like a golden wish, Juliet could want for no more. That was all the info you gave (R&J, daffodil, alliteration & simile) so other lines would have the other things you didn't mention . If I took more than a minute, I could probably do a better one . | |

| He drove his red like a ferrari, alfa romeo, through a potted daffodil, on the boulevard, to roar rapidly round rodeo?
That work?
*snickers at himself* | |

| *claps* I guess in the end what they had was more than adequate to win the prize anyway . Do you have the actual final answers for the quiz bits? | |

| noooo not yet. I have been bugging Holly about the answers for weeks now. I mean the things i/we worked out often seemed so obscure... anyways we now have a nice voucher to spend and i will find out the answers, eventually. I guess the fact that we won meant most of our guesses were correct Andy.. | |

*snickers at himself* Hmmpf mine was much deeper and thoughtful.. *nods* *cackles* Surely anything else would have been, though I forgot to put the Juliet line in. Pre-pend the line "Once released from Juliet" For some reason I found a US based influence *gestures vaguely*

| Been a long time since I read them... but I think the link with the first ones (a) is that they all were, at some time, 'banned books'. The whole moral censorship thing. Just a guess.
For (b) an even more tenuous guestimate is that major characters in each indulged in suicide.
Can't even guess the others
